Goodbye High School 👋

4 years is a period of time that seems to be both a really long time but also really short at the same time. Considering how lazy and cringe I was as a freshman it is kind of refreshing to see how I have grown throughout high school (even though covid has revived a bit of my laziness... 😬). Growing as a person was never something I really thought of too much which is honestly scary considering I could have stayed as the same person...I am very VERY glad I didn't though. With that being said there are 5 main things I have learned from high school which is something I want to go over.

1. Getting bad grades is ok and happens! Just try to study next time...

2. Just because someone else does better than you doesn't mean you aren't doing well!

3. Try to talk to new people and make new friends! *WORKING ON THIS ONE !*

4. Spreading out work makes assignments very easy *thank you 12 AP English Midterm project for showing me this :))*

5. Try to be more excited for things and stop complaining!!

Overall I feel a mixture of nervousness and excitement going into college.  I definitely do not have the life skills to live on my own yet but I'll probably learn them.. eventually. Also not having my parents to force me to study will really test my self control to not procrastinate things. I'm also gonna have to clean after myself which is something I don't do very often. Lot of things to learn but oh well that's what college is for!
